Our Annual Awards Feast is a traditional summer event, always in conjunction with some competitive occasion.  In addition to outstanding food and excellent company, Mini McKenney and Ace-of-Clubs winners and the Volunteer of the Year, together with others worthy of being named in/by our unit receive their just rewards.

In June  2009 we will hold our next Traditional Awards-Feast Luncheon  including  a Unit 102 Swiss Teams Championship.  More information to follow.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June 21th, 2008 we held our Traditional Feast , Swiss Teams Championship, in the new Pine Shores Community Center.  Touch Year 2008 Results for results. In addition to the MMck and AoC-s, an award was given to Mary Doody designated by the Unit 102 Board as "Volunteer of the Year".

On June 16th, 2007 we held our Traditional Feast  in  conjunction with (i.e.: in-the-middle-of) a Unit 102 Swiss Teams Championship, in the new Pine Shores Community Center.  Touch Year 2007 results for results. In addition to the MMck and AoC-s, an award was given to Mary Riegel designated by the Unit 102 Board as "Volunteer of the Year" and a "Special Service Award" to Terry Mays in recognition for his efforts in improving the lot of Unit 102. 

Further a special award was tendered to Sandra Gagnon, for her four years of  hard work  as a Board Member and as the Caddy Mistress "for Ever" of  our Unit.  These awards were intended to express the heartfelt thanks of the Unit for their services.

  On June 17th, 2006 we held our Traditional Dinner  in  conjunction with (i.e.: after) a Unit 102 Swiss Teams Championship, in the new Elks Building, 3900 N.Lockwood Ridge Rd. touch 6.25.05 Swiss Results for results. In addition to the MMck and AoC-s, a special award was given to Past President Michael Bela Kassay,  to Ruth Howard, the latter designated by the Unit 102 Board as "Volunteer of the Year" and a "Special Service Award" to Mary Kassay in recognition for her five years of  "manning the Bridge of the Good Ship PartnerShip" . These awards were intended to express the heartfelt thanks of the Unit for their service.

 On June 25th, 2005 we held our Traditional Dinner  in conjunction with (i.e.: after) a Unit 102 Swiss Teams Championship,touch 6.25.05 Swiss Results for results. In addition to the MMck and AoC-s, a special award was given to President Emeritus Arnie Malasky and to Maureen Moriarty, the latter designated by the Unit 102 Board as "Volunteer of the Year". These awards are intended to express the heartfelt thanks of the Unit for their service.

 On June 19th, 2004 we held our Dinner  in conjunction with (i.e.: after) a Unit 102 Swiss Teams Championship, touch 6.19.04 Swiss Results for results. In addition to the MMck and AoC-s, a special award was given to Dave Wagner, designated by the Unit 102 Board as "Volunteer of the Year". The title does not give full justice to Dave's contribution to our causes.

This year the  Dinner fell onto June 7th, 2003; following two days of  the World Wide Pairs Tournament; touch Wold Wide Pairs Results for results.  A special award went to our esteemed Club Director Michelle Golden, as the very first person named by the League as an ACBL Star Recruiter, U.S.A.-wide !
